Initial construction of the mill property began in the 1850’s. It operated as a factory, powered by the river, for or over 100 years. In 1976 the owner, J.P. Stevens, donated the sprawling property to Riverside Industries, Inc. which still owns and operates the facility. Today, One Cottage Street contains nonprofit programs and administrative offices, professional offices, artist studios, a gym, meeting rooms, and much more!
